In London, two brothers, Thomas and William Gatacre, decide the world needs a little more softness and a lot more fun. Inspired by a child’s silly mashup of “jelly” and “cat” (because, why not?), they set out to create plush toys that are as unique and loveable as kids themselves.
Their very first creations were a hit—thanks to their super-soft fur, floppy limbs, and just the right amount of quirky charm. Parents fell in love with the quality and safety; kids couldn’t get enough of the snuggles. And thus, the Jellycat legend began!
